Portuguesa's Ruy Goiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Portuguesa from getting a goal against them. Ruy Goiano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fliz Abadia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. In the 8th minute, Xavian Abenda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Munat Tayka booed when Portuguesa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matías Sergipano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Munat Tayka's Xuan Abad in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Portuguesa's goalie prevented a goal. With his leg Ruy Goiano managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Munat Tayka's Xuan Abad fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 16th minute, Mattin Abeijon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alejandro-Ramón Hualde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Paulo Mendes in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Xavian Abenda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zé Paulo Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Zé Paulo Mendes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alejandro-Ramón Hualde was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Felipillo Abenda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 29 minutes, Zé Paulo Mendes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Portuguesa and the Munat Tayka players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zé Paulo Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xuan Abad in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruy Goiano saved Portuguesa from getting behind. Xuan Abad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Ruy Goiano made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Xuan Abad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruy Goiano was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Fliz Abadia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruy Goiano having to interfere. Oroitz Abeita struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Ruy Goiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Munat Tayka. If Oroitz Abeita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Portuguesa booed when Munat Tayka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xuan Abad didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zé Paulo Mendes was the one to do the kick off. Portuguesa's Ruy Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xuan Abad in the 52nd minute of play. Ruy Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xuan Abad in the 54th minute of play. Xuan Abad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ruy Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Felipillo Abenda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruy Goiano was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 61st minute Fliz Abadia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fliz Abadia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Xuan Abad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Munat Tayka's Xuan Abad in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Portuguesa's goalie prevented a goal. Portuguesa's Ruy Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xuan Abad in the 79th minute of play. When Xuan Abad came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Munat Tayka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xuan Abad couldn't finish the play. Ruy Goiano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xuan Abad's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Xuan Abad took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruy Goiano. Ruy Goiano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If Fliz Abadia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruy Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xuan Abad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xuan Abad scored 4-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruy Goiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 94th minute, Régis Loureiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xuan Abad in the 96th minute of play forced Portuguesa's goalkeeper Ruy Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Munat Tayka fully deserved thier win.
