If Norbert Borowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Andrzej Olejniczak managed to get in a good position for a shot. MKS Maczka's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrzej Olejniczak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruy Goiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Portuguesa getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Zé Paulo Mendes hit a great ball. Norbert Borowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 9 minutes, Norbert Borowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MKS Maczka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norbert Borowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 14 minutes, Sebastian Plachetka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MKS Maczka and the Portuguesa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sebastian Plachetka kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes MKS Maczka got a freekick which was hit by Andrzej Olejniczak. In the 18th minute, Norbert Borowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruy Goiano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 22nd play minutes Norbert Borowski shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Ruy Goiano and just under the crossbar into goal. After 26 minutes, Norbert Borowski made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Portuguesa's Ruy Goiano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Zé Paulo Mendes came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Portuguesa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Paulo Mendes couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Borowski in the 32nd minute of play forced Portuguesa's goalkeeper Ruy Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th match minute, MKS Maczka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Plachetka to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute Betinho Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomasz Rzegotka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute of the match Portuguesa got a corner. MKS Maczka's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Giuseppe Ferreira ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Portuguesa's corner Giuseppe Ferreira fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tomasz Rzegotka quite easily take care of the ball. Zé Paulo Mendes might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomasz Rzegotka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zé Paulo Mendes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portuguesa's goalkeeper Ruy Goiano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Norbert Borowski came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the MKS Maczka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norbert Borowski couldn't finish the play. Zé Paulo Mendes struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Tomasz Rzegotka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portuguesa. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Norbert Borowski made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrzej Olejniczak got free with Ruy Goiano in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ruy Goiano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Norbert Borowski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 54 minute of play. Betinho Severo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Norbert Borowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruy Goiano was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Andrzej Olejniczak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Ruy Goiano made a huge save. Tomasz Rzegotka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zé Paulo Mendes's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. After having played for 73 minutes, Sebastian Plachetka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 79thth minute of the game Zé Paulo Mendes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MKS Maczka's Tomasz Rzegotka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomasz Rzegotka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Paulo Mendes in the 81st minute of play. Tomasz Rzegotka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betinho Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Portuguesa's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Borowski came free, but Ruy Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to MKS Maczka getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Andrzej Olejniczak hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. MKS Maczka walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
