Michel Duset made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fortunato Malvezzi in the 17th minute of play. Duri come il marmo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andrea Pavia in the 18th minute. Bengt-Rune Bern tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Michel Duset. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-2 in the 18th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Fortunato Malvezzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michel Duset. Asarum's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fortunato Malvezzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Michel Duset took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulvio Di Crescenzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28thth minute of the game Henrik Engström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Duri come il marmo's Arrigo Del Grosso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Michel Duset made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulvio Di Crescenzo in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute Duri come il marmo were awarded a corner. Andrea Pavia went to the cornerflag to take it. 42 minutes into the match, Asarum's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Del Greco came free, but Michel Duset reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Asarum defense, Fulvio Di Crescenzo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michel Duset. The Asarum fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michel Duset should have stopped the shot. Michel Duset showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulvio Di Crescenzo in the 48th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fulvio Di Crescenzo was the one to do the kick off. Michel Duset didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fulvio Di Crescenzo went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. After 58 minutes of play, Duri come il marmo's Fulvio Di Crescenzo made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michel Duset was left in no man's land by his defense there! Florian Del Grecos short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Michel Duset to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Asarum booed when Duri come il marmo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Sciamanna didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 played minutes Asarum got a freekick which was hit by Olof Fribäck. Duri come il marmo made a substitution. Attilio Feliziani replaced Fortunato Malvezzi. In the 69th match minute, Asarum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olof Fribäck to maneuver through the defense. Emanuele Penna's late challenge caught a Asarum's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuele Penna helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Duri come il marmo's Emanuele Penna got a free kick in the 71st minute. Duri come il marmo's Arrigo Del Grosso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Magnus Nyberg in the 73rd minute of play. When Ettore Abete fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Duri come il marmo's protests and gave Ettore Abete a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute, Ettore Abete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 played minutes Asarum got a freekick which was hit by Morgan Wahlström. 82 minutes into the match, Duri come il marmo's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Magnus Nyberg came free, but Arrigo Del Grosso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Florian Del Greco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Duri come il marmo's supporters rose to their feet, but Florian Del Greco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michel Duset breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Michel Duset made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Fulvio Di Crescenzo sent off a good shot on target. Duri come il marmo's Ciro Tosi shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 88th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Michel Duset but with some difficulty. In the 90th minute, Duri come il marmo's Fulvio Di Crescenzo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8.
