Adolfo Remigio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. After having played for 44 minutes, Emilio Aureo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Punta Alvear's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilio Aureo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Punta Alvear's Adolfo Remigio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Punta Alvear from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Valentin Neron took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Adolfo Remigio to make any attempt to save it.
