Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Fernando Luz made the kick off and thus started the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mathieu Roland in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kauan Machado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Mathieu Roland put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kauan Machado. In the 13thth minute of the game Mathieu Roland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gremio NG's Kauan Machado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 15th play minute Alan Aguiar came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Apollinaire Salter. 1-1. Fernando Luzs short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Apollinaire Salter to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mathieu Roland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute, Mathieu Roland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fly T.T fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Mathieu Roland hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Kauan Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathieu Roland, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Kauan Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathieu Roland in the 44th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Alan Aguiar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gremio NG's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fly T.T the free kick. Alan Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mathieu Roland to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Sebastião Neto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Apollinaire Salter. Fly T.T's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastião Neto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Kauan Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathieu Roland in the 59th minute of play. Brant Shirley charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brant Shirley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Brant Shirley hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Luz in the 64th minute of play forced Fly T.T's goalkeeper Apollinaire Salter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathieu Roland in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kauan Machado, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kauan Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathieu Roland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Gremio NG getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Vítor Martins hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Kauan Machado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kauan Machado came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Fly T.T's Edwardo Baca. But to his dismay, Edwardo Baca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. 96 minutes into the match, Gremio NG's goalkeeper Kauan Machado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathieu Roland. The Fly T.T supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fly T.T would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
