The nice shot from Edgar Pankowski in the 7thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Michel Duset had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. If Edgar Pankowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Asarum getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Isac Lindkvist hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Edgar Pankowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st match minute, CKS Zbiersk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radoslaw Zdrojowy to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Pankowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michel Duset read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Bengt Jönsson hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Michel Duset showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacek Sochacki, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Engström in the 40th minute of play forced CKS Zbiersk's goalkeeper Wincent Kiszkiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacek Sochacki's late challenge caught a Asarum's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacek Sochacki helped the player get up and apologised. Jacek Sochacki hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 44th match minute, CKS Zbiersk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norbert Biskupiak to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
