The referee felt a red card was in order, 31 minutes into the game, when Maurinho Albuquerque put in a rough tackle. 30 minutes into the game, one of Zemantauskas FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Matheus Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiktor Leper in the 37th minute of the match. Matheus Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Leper in the 41st minute of play. Wiktor Leper could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Matheus Carneiro made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wiktor Leper in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matheus Carneiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute of the match Zagłębie Dąbrowskie got a corner. Zemantauskas FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jacek Mietus ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Jacek Mietus got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Matheus Carneiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wiktor Leper stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Wiktor Leper got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Zagłębie Dąbrowskie booed when Zemantauskas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubens Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute Zbyszek Olejarz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matheus Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despite being the better team, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
