The referee ignored Shuspendemo's protests and gave Laureano Fernandes a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Shuspendemo's Laureano Fernandes got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 7 minutes into the game, Koen Van der Hoeven was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Coruña FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shuspendemo the free kick. 10 minutes into the game, Nacho Gol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Conrado Atarratze was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Siro Eduino charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Siro Eduino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raul Garin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Conrado Atarratze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melchor Cordaro made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Koen Van der Hoeven sent off a good shot on target. After 25 played minutes La Coruña FC got a freekick which was hit by Adan Erdiano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nacho Gol in the 26th minute of play forced La Coruña FC's goalkeeper Conrado Atarratze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrado Atarratze stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raul Garin's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Conrado Atarratze didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nacho Gol went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After the first half Shuspendemo were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Koen Van der Hoeven to strike the kick off in the second half. Conrado Atarratze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nacho Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the match, La Coruña FC's goalkeeper Conrado Atarratze had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nacho Gol. After 57 minutes, Nacho Gol made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. La Coruña FC's Conrado Atarratze tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Conrado Salvadore kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Conrado Atarratze. That made the score 0-5 in the 62 minute of play. The tension between the La Coruña FC and the Shuspendemo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Teodosio Nel hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Conrado Atarratze acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 67th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Emiliano Amor. Raul Garin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Conrado Atarratze firmly grabbed it by the left post. Conrado Atarratze came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Shuspendemo's Nacho Gol. But to his dismay, Nacho Gol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Nacho Gol's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Conrado Atarratze skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Conrado Atarratze made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nacho Gol in the 83rd minute. La Coruña FC's Conrado Atarratze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Baristo in the 86th minute of play. A collision led to Shuspendemo getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Zaid Romero hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the game, Nacho Gol lined in a short shot 0-7 behind a frustrated Conrado Atarratze. Shuspendemo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
