Henrik Lillemo started the match with the kick off. FC Kopenalguen's Mariano Musko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save FC Kopenalguen from getting a goal against them. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Kopenalguen's goalkeeper Mariano Musko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mariano Musko made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Kenneth Stordahl sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to FC Kopenalguen getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Victorino Oliviero hit a great ball. Jarle Iqbal's late challenge caught a FC Kopenalguen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jarle Iqbal helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gædd FK getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Jarle Iqbal hit a great ball. Gædd FK's Ludvig Hilstad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Orixe in the 15th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Kjartan Kroken was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gædd FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Kopenalguen the free kick. After 21 played minutes FC Kopenalguen got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Pierres. After a rather tough play, FC Kopenalguen's Apolo Quentin got a free kick in the 29th minute. Kenneth Stordahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 33rd match minute, FC Kopenalguen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Quentin to maneuver through the defense. Victorino Pierres hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Gædd FK's Ludvig Hilstad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Quentin in the 38th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Bruno Maiorga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ludvig Hilstad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ludvig Hilstad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Pierres in the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The supporters of FC Kopenalguen booed when Gædd FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Morten Hurlen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Musko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Lillemo in the 61st minute of the match. If Daniel Lundh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Lillemo in the 65th minute of play forced FC Kopenalguen's goalkeeper Mariano Musko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Celedonio Orixe fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Kopenalguen's protests and gave Celedonio Orixe a yellow card for diving instead. Ludvig Hilstad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celedonio Orixe's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Ludvig Hilstad successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jarle Iqbal hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When Kjartan Kroken was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. In the 85th minute Celedonio Orixe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludvig Hilstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th match minute, Gædd FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Grønås to maneuver through the defense. After 92 played minutes Gædd FK got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Erlandsen. 93 minutes into the match, Celedonio Orixe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ludvig Hilstad. Gædd FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celedonio Orixe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. FC Kopenalguen played a much better game than Gædd FK and deserved their victory. The Gædd FK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
