Pedro Luís Macedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. AC Korban's Pedro Luís Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rory Weatherhead in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Zak Walls had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Luís Macedo. AC Korban's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zak Walls was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a little luck, Barr Point's Sacha Lane got control of the ball when Vladimir Koehler tried to sneak it across the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Vladimir Koehler heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After some careless play in the AC Korban defense, Rory Weatherhead kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Luís Macedo. The AC Korban fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Luís Macedo should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Vladimir Koehler kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sacha Lane. That made the score 2-3 in the 26 minute of play. In the 31st minute, Zak Walls made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Luís Macedo. AC Korban's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. After 36 minutes of play, Barr Point's Rory Weatherhead made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Luís Macedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Luís Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zak Walls, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Zé Carlos Furlan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sacha Lane read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Zé Carlos Furlan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sacha Lane, 3-5. Disappointed in the 3-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, AC Korban's Zé Carlos Furlan got a free kick in the 53rd minute. AC Korban's Pedro Luís Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zak Walls in the 57th minute of play. AC Korban's Pedro Luís Macedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save AC Korban from getting a goal against them. In the 65th minute, Barr Point's Zak Walls ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Luís Macedo. Pedro Luís Macedo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-6. Steven Freeman hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After having played for 70 minutes, Thomás de Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Korban's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomás de Godoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd match minute, Barr Point was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rory Weatherhead to maneuver through the defense. Barr Point's Sacha Lane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Koehler in the 74th minute of play. Zak Walls sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 3-7 when Rory Weatherhead sped through AC Korban's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Luís Macedo. AC Korban's Pedro Luís Macedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save AC Korban from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Tod Llewellyn could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Pedro Luís Macedo however easily saved by the left post. In the 84th minute, Zé Carlos Furlan made a precise shot to the right of Sacha Lane. Barr Point's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-7. Pedro Luís Macedo made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Tod Llewellyn sent off a good shot on target. Rory Weatherhead was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 95th minute. Barr Point's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
