After having played for 8 minutes, Eusebiu Siniştean managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MIT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebiu Siniştean was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. MIT's Iulian Burtea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save MIT from getting a goal against them. Nichifor Mara hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the game, MIT's Eusebiu Siniştean nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kahraman Eryilmaz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Tehlikeli Aslar's Bedirhan Kutberk got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eusebiu Siniştean during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Tehlikeli Aslar booed when MIT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebiu Siniştean didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rahim Muhteşem made in the 28th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by MIT's Eduard Culcer. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Naci Gencay during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Remus Chilian fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MIT's protests and gave Remus Chilian a yellow card for diving instead. A hard shot by Lütfullah Kantara from long distance, 42 minutes into the match, got Iulian Burtea's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Eusebiu Siniştean was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 47 minutes had been played. Eusebiu Siniştean hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bedirhan Kutberk was the one to do the kick off. If Grigore Rizescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kahraman Eryilmaz made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Martin Topală sent off a good shot on target. Tehlikeli Aslar made a substitution. Akgün Yücel replaced Naci Gencay. Rahim Muhteşem made in the 69th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Serdar Paksoy however managed to control. The supporters of Tehlikeli Aslar booed when MIT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remus Chilian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grigore Rizescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kahraman Eryilmaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Grigore Rizescu ran back to his position shaking his head. Kahraman Eryilmaz made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Grigore Rizescu sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Grigore Rizescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kahraman Eryilmaz. That made the score 0-2 in the 84 minute of play. MIT's Nichifor Mara got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Tehlikeli Aslar supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching MIT's performance. The match ended with a win for MIT.
