Silvano Fonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Gabriel Furtado in the 6th minute of play. Silvano Fonso came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético da Colina's Tiago Gabriel Furtado. But to his dismay, Tiago Gabriel Furtado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Herrier's Silvano Fonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Paulo Cunha in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute João Paulo Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Fonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvano Fonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Gabriel Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvano Fonso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Trancoso went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 28 minutes into the match, Herrier's goal looked a bit too open when João Paulo Cunha came free, but Silvano Fonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvano Fonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Paulo Cunha in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Herrier's Epifanio Dayam got a free kick in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Gabriel Furtado in the 35th minute of play forced Herrier's goalkeeper Silvano Fonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Herrier's goal looked a bit too open when João Paulo Cunha came free, but Silvano Fonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvano Fonso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Sebastian Eutor made the kick off in the second half. Herrier's Silvano Fonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Gabriel Furtado in the 55th minute of play. In the 59th minute of the match, Tiago Gabriel Furtado tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Silvano Fonso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 61st minute João Paulo Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Fonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernani Mello kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Rui Cordeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético da Colina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Herrier the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atlético da Colina fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Herrier a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edgard Indar, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Atlético da Colina's Dorian Chaves. 1-4. In the 77th match minute, Herrier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Dayam to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Tiago Gabriel Furtado fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Silvano Fonso, passed just outside the right post. In the 81st minute, Hernani Mello made a precise shot to the right of Silvano Fonso. Herrier's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. João Paulo Cunha took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvano Fonso. Silvano Fonso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. 88 minutes into the match, João Paulo Cunha notched a goal, 1-7, to the right of Herrier's Silvano Fonso. Silvano Fonso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Giuseppe Leal charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giuseppe Leal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd minute, Giuseppe Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herrier's Leonardo Amato got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Herrier's zone, Aílton Prestes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvano Fonso came out of the goal and Aílton Prestes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Herrier fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 98th minute. Penalty! After 102 played minutes Herrier got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Clemencin. When the final whistle sounded Atlético da Colina left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Herrier.
