The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute Leo Gora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Dăianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC GURZUN's Cătălin Dăianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Eladio in the 5th minute of play. Clodoveo Eladio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Cătălin Dăianu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute Leo Gora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Dăianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clodoveo Eladio took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cătălin Dăianu. Cătălin Dăianu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 14th minute, Generoso Bonifaco made a precise shot to the right of Cătălin Dăianu. FC GURZUN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Nahitantino's zone, Iustinian Drăghincescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremias Turi came out of the goal and Iustinian Drăghincescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the game, Nahitantino's Leo Gora nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cătălin Dăianu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 24th minute, Răzvan Caragea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cătălin Dăianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Generoso Bonifaco in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Gora in the 32nd minute of play forced FC GURZUN's goalkeeper Cătălin Dăianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute Generoso Bonifaco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Dăianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, FC GURZUN's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Gora came free, but Cătălin Dăianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clodoveo Eladio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Gora in the 47th minute of play forced FC GURZUN's goalkeeper Cătălin Dăianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iustinian Drăghincescu to make the kick off. After some careless play in the FC GURZUN defense, Leo Gora kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cătălin Dăianu. The FC GURZUN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cătălin Dăianu should have stopped the shot. Cătălin Dăianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Gora in the 62nd minute of play. Cătălin Dăianu made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Generoso Bonifaco sent off a good shot on target. FC GURZUN's Cătălin Dăianu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save FC GURZUN from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Gora in the 66th minute of play forced FC GURZUN's goalkeeper Cătălin Dăianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cătălin Dăianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Gora in the 66th minute of the match. Cătălin Dăianu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Generoso Bonifaco in the 67th minute. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Leo Gora took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Cătălin Dăianu to make any attempt to save it. In the 73rd minute, Generoso Bonifaco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nahitantino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Nahitantino made a substitution. Teodosio Montel replaced Leo Gora. Răzvan Caragea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Primitivo Bibiano hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After having played for 83 minutes, Augustin Gorjanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC GURZUN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augustin Gorjanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 85 played minutes FC GURZUN got a freekick which was hit by Viorel Brădescu. In the 86th minute, Teodosio Montel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nahitantino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. Cătălin Dăianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Montel in the 89th minute of play. After 91 played minutes FC GURZUN got a freekick which was hit by Mihail Ifrim. The supporters of Nahitantino booed when FC GURZUN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Răzvan Caragea didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Clodoveo Eladio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nahitantino's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
