After taking down the ball on Fauna Utd's corner Henri-Xavier Justus fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Astor Teofilio quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yannis Candries got free with Astor Teofilio in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Astor Teofilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julien Demarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francois Swartenbroekx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Astor Teofilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yannis Candries sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Astor Teofilio didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Fauna Utd's Henri-Xavier Justus shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 35th minute, Fauna Utd's Henri-Xavier Justus ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Astor Teofilio. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 50th minute, Isidoro Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yannis Candries kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Club Atletico Lanus's Arne Van Brusselen threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Isidoro Torres, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 56 minutes, Henri-Xavier Justus made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Club Atletico Lanus's Astor Teofilio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Yannis Candries recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With 65 minutes on the clock, Harry Custermans commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 66th minute, Harry Custermans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Marcial Martinez the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Club Atletico Lanus protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Marcial Martinez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Atletico Lanus! Marnix Mons placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out!
