In the 19thth minute of the game Arixo Aponte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Reac Futebol Clube's Hortêncio Madureira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Porquera in the 27th minute of play forced Reac Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Hortêncio Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hortêncio Madureira was a little too slow when Bobby Abreu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bobby Abreu was the one to do the kick off. The Real Marabino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Hortêncio Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kinsen Aguinagalde in the 73rd minute of play. Hortêncio Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bobby Abreu in the 75th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Kinsen Aguinagalde notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Reac Futebol Clube's Hortêncio Madureira. Hortêncio Madureira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bautista Govantes in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hortêncio Madureira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Real Marabino's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Blas Arrazola in the 95th minute. It was a well-played corner which Bautista Govantes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.
