Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Angel Guglev got the match started through his kick off. Charles Knapp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Guglev in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute Ruslan Gamanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Knapp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cascade Park West's Charles Knapp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Guglev in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Angel Guglev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Charles Knapp was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goal looked a bit too open when Denislav Kitin came free, but Charles Knapp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 minutes, Dido Dereliev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maritza and the Cascade Park West players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dido Dereliev hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Cascade Park West's Mohammad Holland got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Cascade Park West's Mohammad Holland got a free kick in the 25th minute. Kaloyan Butev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Charles Knapp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Maritza's Denislav Kitin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Charles Knapp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 34 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goal looked a bit too open when Denislav Kitin came free, but Charles Knapp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charles Knapp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Guglev in the 38th minute of play. Merrill Corcoran hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Angel Guglev made a precise shot to the right of Charles Knapp. Cascade Park West's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Charles Knapp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaloyan Butev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denislav Kitin during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Maritza getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Denislav Kitin hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ervin Talbot to strike the kick off in the second half. Ferdinand Keyes hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Dimcho Moskovski charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dimcho Moskovski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ervin Talbot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trifon Pazvantov having to interfere. Merrill Corcoran hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Charles Knapp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaloyan Butev in the 68th minute. Angel Guglevs short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Charles Knapp to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 69 minutes, Ervin Talbot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cascade Park West and the Maritza players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Maritza fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! Trifon Pazvantov had in the 74thth minute some difficulties stopping Ferdinand Keyes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Ferdinand Keyes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Trifon Pazvantov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Charles Knapp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angel Guglev in the 78th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Angel Guglev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Charles Knapp. Cascade Park West's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angel Guglev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Charles Knapp came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Maritza's Kaloyan Butev. But to his dismay, Kaloyan Butev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kaloyan Butev got free with Charles Knapp in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 93 minutes into the match, Angel Guglev dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Charles Knapp, 1-6. Merrill Corcoran kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the match was over Maritza could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cascade Park West throughout the match.
