The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Antonis Papadimitriou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kepa Machado in the 10th minute of the match. Petros Zabetas hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute Gudesteo Santiago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonis Papadimitriou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonis Papadimitriou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kepa Machado in the 16th minute of the match. Panos Kimisis hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. When Kepa Machado came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the SC Pfullendorf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kepa Machado couldn't finish the play. Antonis Papadimitriou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kepa Machado's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Panthiseiakos's zone, Marquez Tobias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonis Papadimitriou came out of the goal and Marquez Tobias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 0-2 became the score in the 26th minute when Gudesteo Santiago elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 29 played minutes Panthiseiakos got a freekick which was hit by Giorgos Mourouzis. Giorgos Mourouzis kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Antonis Papadimitriou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kepa Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panthiseiakos's Antonis Papadimitriou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kepa Machado in the 41st minute of play. Kepa Machado might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antonis Papadimitriou. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kepa Machado ran back to his position shaking his head. SC Pfullendorf made a substitution. Loramendi Jurado replaced Gudesteo Santiago.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kepa Machado to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kepa Machado got free with Antonis Papadimitriou in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felipo Ramirez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anestis Mavrakos, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Kepa Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 62nd minute, but Antonis Papadimitriou got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Panthiseiakos hanging dry this time. Panthiseiakos's Antonis Papadimitriou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Panthiseiakos from getting a goal against them. Antonis Papadimitriou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loramendi Jurado in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute, Marquez Tobias reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Antonis Papadimitriou. The goal made the score 0-3. Antonis Papadimitriou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquez Tobias, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Kepa Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonis Papadimitriou was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Kepa Machado capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kepa Machado really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. When Marquez Tobias fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Pfullendorf's protests and gave Marquez Tobias a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 minutes of play, SC Pfullendorf's Loramendi Jurado made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonis Papadimitriou was left in no man's land by his defense there! Loramendi Jurado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Loramendi Jurado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
