After a rather tough play, HORTALEZA FC's Karlos Losada got a free kick in the 5th minute. HORTALEZA FC's Alexander Yeste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Antonio Sarfate in the 7th minute of play. When Francisco Antonio Sarfate came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Obi Wan Cannabis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Antonio Sarfate couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the game, Normando Rosario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HORTALEZA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Obi Wan Cannabis the free kick. A collision led to HORTALEZA FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Normando Rosario hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Obi Wan Cannabis's goalkeeper Adalberto Feloaga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arturo Font. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo Font got free with Adalberto Feloaga in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the game, Normando Rosario cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Adalberto Feloaga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. HORTALEZA FC's Alexander Yeste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quim Faille in the 32nd minute of play. Jimeno Porte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo Font got free with Adalberto Feloaga in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st minute, Matias Ballesteros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Jaime Painevilu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 1-1 became the score in the 47th minute when Quim Faille elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Normando Rosario made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes HORTALEZA FC got a freekick which was hit by Gartzea Fuentes. Alexander Yeste made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Quim Faille sent off a good shot on target. Francisco Antonio Sarfate recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. HORTALEZA FC's Matias Ballesteros got his second yellow card of the match in the 59th minute. The referee ordered Matias Ballesteros off the ground. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arturo Mistral during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Alvino Chalco fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Obi Wan Cannabis's protests and gave Alvino Chalco a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Font in the 73rd minute of play forced Obi Wan Cannabis's goalkeeper Adalberto Feloaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Font's late challenge caught a Obi Wan Cannabis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arturo Font helped the player get up and apologised. 82 minutes into the match, Obi Wan Cannabis's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Font came free, but Adalberto Feloaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexander Yeste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quim Faille, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 95th minute Arturo Font shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalberto Feloaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Obi Wan Cannabis's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because HORTALEZA FC had won, even though Obi Wan Cannabis had held more of the ball.
