Dalmacio Pedroso came out of the goal and Rogelio Madeo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Vélez Juniors's Fidel Pietro in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 12th match minute, Vélez Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Bordat to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Vamos Los Pibes!!!! getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Anastasio Petrigai hit a great ball. Dalmacio Pedroso had great luck who in the 18thth minute grab hold of the ball when Rogelio Madeo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 22nd minute, Anier Jakobe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vamos Los Pibes!!!! fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Elpidio Raitin charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elpidio Raitin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 32 minutes into the match, Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Madeo came free, but Dalmacio Pedroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Emilio Serafo fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vélez Juniors's protests and gave Emilio Serafo a yellow card for diving instead. Emilio Serafo kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. A collision led to Vélez Juniors getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Tomás Bordat hit a great ball. The supporters of Vélez Juniors booed when Vamos Los Pibes!!!! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Tercero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dalmacio Pedroso made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Fidel Pietro sent off a good shot on target.

The wind increased when Rogelio Madeo made the kick off in the second half. Dalmacio Pedroso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Madeo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anastasio Petrigai kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute of the match Amancio Godoy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dalmacio Pedroso skillfully saved the ball. Dalmacio Pedroso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Pietro in the 63rd minute of play. Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s Dalmacio Pedroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Pietro in the 66th minute of play. In the 66th match minute, Vamos Los Pibes!!!! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Chepe to maneuver through the defense. Dalmacio Pedroso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Pietro in the 69th minute of play. Vélez Juniors's Fidel Pietro got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Madeo in the 74th minute of play forced Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s goalkeeper Dalmacio Pedroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fidel Pietro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Dalmacio Pedroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Vélez Juniors's goalkeeper Constantino Manny had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anier Jakobe. Dalmacio Pedroso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Pietro in the 85th minute of the match. Rogelio Madeo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Pedroso having to interfere. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s goalkeeper Dalmacio Pedroso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evelio Tercero got free with Constantino Manny in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vamos Los Pibes!!!! had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
