After 15 played minutes Cacomixtles de Queretaro got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Fernandez. In the 18th minute, Motu's Albino Sendoa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Teo Ekialde. Teo Ekialde yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Silverio Juvenal kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Maximiliano Cerilo charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximiliano Cerilo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maximiliano Cerilo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After having played for 24 minutes, Mario Cugat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Motu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Cugat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mario Cugat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Teo Ekialde made a huge save. When Mario Cugat in the 28th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Teo Ekialde kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. A collision led to Cacomixtles de Queretaro getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Cristian Gutierrez hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Motu's Albino Sendoa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teo Ekialde narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Albino Sendoa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teo Ekialde was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. 37 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Chabier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The wind increased when Albino Sendoa made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Cacomixtles de Queretaro's Silverio Juvenal got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute Albino Sendoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Ekialde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Fernandez in the 95th minute of play forced Motu's goalkeeper Eliseo Abeita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Motu fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cacomixtles de Queretaro had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
