Billy Loy kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Perthes United's zone, Henric Ahlroht stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moïse Mouton came out of the goal and Henric Ahlroht tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Harry Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Karl Åhlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Henric Ahlroht came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Flodde CFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henric Ahlroht couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Flodde CFC's Karl Åhlberg got a free kick in the 17th minute. Dante Lundberg made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Michaël Dubuis sent off a good shot on target. Perthes United's Moïse Mouton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henric Ahlroht in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Michaël Dubuis made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michaël Dubuis in the 52nd minute of play forced Flodde CFC's goalkeeper Dante Lundberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herbert Courcelle took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lundberg. Dante Lundberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Peter Modig got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Karl Åhlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Henric Ahlroht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 played minutes Henric Ahlroht rounded Perthes United's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. With a little luck, Perthes United's Moïse Mouton got control of the ball when Karl Åhlberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Michaël Dubuis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lundberg having to make a save. Flodde CFC's Dante Lundberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Courcelle in the 82nd minute of play. Karl Åhlberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Moïse Mouton made a huge save. After 88 played minutes Perthes United got a freekick which was hit by Billy Loy. The Flodde CFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Flodde CFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
