The referee felt a red card was in order, 6 minutes into the game, when Isaltino Capixaba put in a rough tackle. 5 minutes into the game, one of Quandus:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philip Ambjörnsson in the 10th minute of play forced Quandus's goalkeeper Tostão Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Elói Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tostão Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philip Ambjörnsson in the 23rd minute of play. Dráusio Gerber might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tom Klintæus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dráusio Gerber ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 32nd minute, Philip Ambjörnsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Project X fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Jesper Snell hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When Ingvar Bollström came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Project X fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingvar Bollström couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute Válter Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Klintæus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Project X's Jesper Snell got a free kick in the 75th minute. Henry Lange kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. João Carlos Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Tom Klintæus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, Project X was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesper Snell to maneuver through the defense. The Quandus supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Project X's performance. The match ended with a win for Project X.
