In the 10th minute of the match Luís Paulo Cabral sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Malcolm Jakobsson skillfully saved the ball. When Jens-Åke Wennerquist fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hammarby Gård's protests and gave Jens-Åke Wennerquist a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Atomy de Rondônia booed when Hammarby Gård was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Åke Wennerquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cauan Prado took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Malcolm Jakobsson. Malcolm Jakobsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Cláudio Carioca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Skröder, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The supporters of Atomy de Rondônia booed when Hammarby Gård was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oskar Enegren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atomy de Rondônia's goalkeeper Cláudio Carioca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Serafim Teixeira notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Hammarby Gård's Malcolm Jakobsson. Malcolm Jakobsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zé Carlos Silva really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Serafim Teixeira made a kick off. Hammarby Gård were furious when Andy Siggesson was red carded, 54 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Hammarby Gård:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Atomy de Rondônia:s goal. In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Atomy de Rondônia. Luís Paulo Cabral stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Malcolm Jakobsson. 4-0. Malcolm Jakobsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauan Prado in the 62nd minute of play. After 66 minutes of play, Atomy de Rondônia's Cauan Prado made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Malcolm Jakobsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 70th minute, Matthias Glad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Malcolm Jakobsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Paulo Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Malcolm Jakobsson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Atomy de Rondônia's Serafim Teixeira shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 74th match minute, Atomy de Rondônia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrianinho de Sousa to maneuver through the defense. Malcolm Jakobsson came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Atomy de Rondônia's Serafim Teixeira. But to his dismay, Serafim Teixeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Malcolm Jakobsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafim Teixeira in the 86th minute of play. Oskar Enegren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Cláudio Carioca made a huge save. In the 90th minute, Zé Carlos Silva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atomy de Rondônia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. In the 95th minute, Jens-Åke Wennerquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauan Prado in the 98th minute of play forced Hammarby Gård's goalkeeper Malcolm Jakobsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hammarby Gård's Malcolm Jakobsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carlos Silva in the 99th minute of play. 101 minutes into the match, Zé Carlos Silva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Malcolm Jakobsson. Hammarby Gård's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zé Carlos Silva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Atomy de Rondônia fully deserved thier win.
