Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauro Proença in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hjalmar Lund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Floresta Negra FC fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Floresta Negra FC's Mauro Proença looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Marco van Dijk's late challenge caught a Svettkorvarna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Corrêa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 40th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Harry Isaksson fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Svettkorvarna's protests and gave Harry Isaksson a yellow card for diving instead. After 48 played minutes Svettkorvarna got a freekick which was hit by Harry Isaksson. In the 48th minute, Fausto Corrêa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mauro Proença to strike the kick off in the second half. Leonardo Vassenius hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. The long shot by Fausto Corrêa in the 55th minute really tested Hjalmar Lund's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauro Proença got free with Hjalmar Lund in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 64 minutes into the game, Marco van Persie recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hjalmar Lund. Marco van Persie showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. 69 minutes into the match, Svettkorvarna's goalkeeper Hjalmar Lund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauro Proença. In the 75th match minute, Floresta Negra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank de Boer to maneuver through the defense. When Svettkorvarna's Örjan Benet in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Svettkorvarna's Hjalmar Lund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Proença in the 94th minute of play. In the 98thth minute of the game Örjan Benet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Floresta Negra FC's Oséas Leme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Floresta Negra FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Floresta Negra FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
