The referee ignored Pampas Team's protests and gave Isauro Verges a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pampas Team getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Isauro Verges hit a great ball. 2-0 became the score in the 37th minute when Stepan Kirichenko elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Nil Dergachev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Mayor having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Tomás Mayor successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albino España to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Timofey Vekshin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomás Mayor was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. But to his dismay, Stepan Kirichenko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1.
