Walter Rosin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guga Goiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Guga Goiano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Walter Rosin was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. When Cássio Aparecido fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Júlio Jacinto got control of the ball when Christoffer Sundén tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfred Winström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Júlio Jacinto made a huge save. Skånes stolthet!'s Walter Rosin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Aparecido in the 32nd minute of play. Corinthians Paulista got a freekick which was hit by Dedê Paes. Skånes stolthet!'s Edgar Pil couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 44th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for S.C. Corinthians Paulista. In the 48thth minute of the game Guga Goiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skånes stolthet!'s Walter Rosin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfred Winström made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Skånes stolthet!'s Alfred Winström got a free kick in the 52nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guga Goiano in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walter Rosin saved Skånes stolthet! from getting behind. Luiz Fábio Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Rosin having to interfere. Guga Goiano took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walter Rosin. Walter Rosin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Diego da Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Walter Rosin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guga Goiano was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 74th minute. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A collision led to Skånes stolthet! getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Richard Bergman hit a great ball. Walter Rosin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guga Goiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Skånes stolthet!'s zone, Guga Goiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walter Rosin came out of the goal and Guga Goiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 91 played minutes Skånes stolthet! got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Winström. Júlio Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reine Apelquist in the 96th minute of play.
