Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Moisés Valentim successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Barry Crocker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benedict Hodgson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Valentim having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Barry Crocker dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Moisés Valentim, 1-0. Moisés Valentim was a little too slow when Barry Crocker got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 41st minute, Barry Crocker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulo Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Benedict Hodgson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Moisés Valentim made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Valente made a kick off. Moisés Valentim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry Crocker in the 53rd minute of play. Paulo Maia charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Maia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
