The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. André Skovsted kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 7th minute André Skovsted shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hieronim Wojton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bears are Back's Hieronim Wojton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonhard Heins in the 14th minute of play. When Jesper Frænde fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Potters's protests and gave Jesper Frænde a yellow card for diving instead. Piotr Walkowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Melkior Fausbæk when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 20 minutes into the game, Leonhard Heins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Potters's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bears are Back the free kick. A collision led to The Potters getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Leonhard Heins hit a great ball. If Piotr Walkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of The Potters booed when Bears are Back was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jurand Gargasz didn't get a good kick on the ball. André Skovsted fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hieronim Wojton having to interfere. If Cezary Pliszka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in The Potters's zone, Juliusz Gonsiewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melkior Fausbæk came out of the goal and Juliusz Gonsiewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonhard Heins to make the kick off. Hieronim Wojton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonhard Heins in the 55th minute. Melkior Fausbæk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezary Pliszka in the 57th minute of play. Leonhard Heins did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Hieronim Wojton 59 minutes into the match. In the 63rd match minute, Bears are Back was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Borys Zarobski to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Bears are Back's goalkeeper Hieronim Wojton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by André Skovsted. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piotr Walkowski in the 69th minute of play forced The Potters's goalkeeper Melkior Fausbæk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Bears are Back booed when The Potters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Volmar Drøss didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Cezary Pliszka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bears are Back's supporters rose to their feet, but Cezary Pliszka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melkior Fausbæk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hieronim Wojton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonhard Heins, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After 78 minutes, Piotr Walkowski made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. The Potters's Melkior Fausbæk tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cezary Pliszka struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Melkior Fausbæk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bears are Back. Leonhard Heins was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Bears are Back booed when The Potters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonhard Heins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frede Wilmann kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
