Quinito Treviño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, WINNING ELEVEN's Otsando Calonge threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Santos Garikoitz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 16 minutes into the match, WINNING ELEVEN's Eliseo Nardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Otsando Calonge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliseo Nardo got free with Otsando Calonge in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Sporting Cristal's Otsando Calonge got control of the ball when Nereo Sanchez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nereo Sanchez to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Sporting Cristal defense, Jonatan Hunfredo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Otsando Calonge. The Sporting Cristal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Otsando Calonge should have stopped the shot. After 55 played minutes Sporting Cristal got a freekick which was hit by Bermudo Reynoso. If Jonatan Hunfredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nereo Sanchez spun around in front of the goal 56 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Sporting Cristal's goal. Sporting Cristal's Otsando Calonge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Nardo in the 58th minute of play. Otsando Calonge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Nardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Sporting Cristal's Otsando Calonge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Sanchez in the 67th minute of play. When Abelardo Raitin fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored WINNING ELEVEN's protests and gave Abelardo Raitin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to WINNING ELEVEN getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Abelardo Raitin hit a great ball. With 72 minutes on the clock, Gervasio Rosser commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sporting Cristal fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! In the 74th minute there was a penalty for WINNING ELEVEN. Nereo Sanchez stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Otsando Calonge. 5-0. Otsando Calonge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Sanchez in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Abelardo Raitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otsando Calonge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Otsando Calonge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Garikoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
