The referee ignored Izaltina FAD's protests and gave Luiz Alcântara a yellow card for diving instead. Cássio Soeiro made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Duda de Sousa sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Izaltina FAD getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Leandro Alagoano hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Allan do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Duda de Sousa got free with Cássio Soeiro in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cássio Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Paulo Recife in the 34th minute of the match. If José Paulo Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Víktor Sarmento came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Corinthians fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Víktor Sarmento couldn't finish the play. Cássio Soeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Corinthians's Simão Travassos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 84th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Izaltina FAD. A collision led to Corinthians getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Víktor Sarmento hit a great ball. Duda de Sousa scored 1-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cássio Soeiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Izaltina FAD's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
