The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armando Orlan in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eloy Polentzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 6th minute, Armando Orlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th match minute, CF JABATOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prudencio Oxel to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Orlan in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eloy Polentzi saved Copérnico F.C. from getting behind. In the 15th minute Amadeo Florin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Ignazio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jairo Firman's late challenge caught a Copérnico F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jairo Firman helped the player get up and apologised. The crowd rose to their feet as Copérnico F.C.'s Arnoldo Sergi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernardino Ignazio. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. When Arnoldo Sergi came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Copérnico F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnoldo Sergi couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, CF JABATOS's Bernardino Ignazio got control of the ball when Anacleto Ponciano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernardino Ignazio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amadeo Florin's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. After 45 played minutes CF JABATOS got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Txanton.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amadeo Florin was the one to do the kick off. CF JABATOS's Armando Orlan got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 53rd minute, Pedro Arnas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amadeo Florin in the 55th managed to get into a good position.
