Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Stålberg came free, but Maxim Ciuvică reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 played minutes A.C. Milan got a freekick which was hit by Emil Horațiu. André Söderkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Maxim Ciuvică tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Gottfrid Stenquist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maxim Ciuvică was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 42nd minute Torbjörn Stålberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxim Ciuvică saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emil Horațiu in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arne Petersson saved Galapagos Islands FC from getting behind. Galapagos Islands FC's Emanuel Sandberg got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Galapagos Islands FC's Torbjörn Stålberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maxim Ciuvică. That made the score 2-2 after 56 minutes of play. In the 60th minute Emil Horațiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Petersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Octav Hodorog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torbjörn Stålberg got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 2-3 in the right cross in the 82nd match minute before Maxim Ciuvică had time to react. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Horațiu in the 86th minute of play forced Galapagos Islands FC's goalkeeper Arne Petersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
