Håkan Holm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boris Forsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thor Mager in the 12th minute of play forced Flock of Eagles's goalkeeper Håkan Holm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Flock of Eagles booed when Hogans Heroes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Erik Sandell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hogans Heroes's Kenny Carlsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Gadd in the 56th minute of play. Flock of Eagles's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Richard Gadd in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute, Arne Benett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute of the match, Thor Mager tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Håkan Holm saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 64thth minute of the game Thor Mager who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flock of Eagles's Håkan Holm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Karl Felin took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Håkan Holm. Håkan Holm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 71 minutes into the game, Arne Brodin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flock of Eagles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hogans Heroes the free kick. Arne Brodin kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Timmy Fransson hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Kristian Stålberg's late challenge caught a Flock of Eagles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kristian Stålberg helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 80 minutes, Arne Benett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flock of Eagles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arne Benett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th match minute, Hogans Heroes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristian Stålberg to maneuver through the defense. After 92 minutes of play, Hogans Heroes's Boris Forsberg made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Håkan Holm was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded Hogans Heroes left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Flock of Eagles.
