Spectators: 167 (Terracing: 126, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Valentin Folle kicked off to start the match. Agnaldo Paraíba, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Folle came free, but Gilberto Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Nicollao Ovies shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Godoi came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Leones FC's Nicollao Ovies. But to his dismay, Nicollao Ovies quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicollao Ovies in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilberto Godoi saved Ricart Futebol Clube from getting behind. The supporters of Leones FC booed when Ricart Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicollao Ovies might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilberto Godoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicollao Ovies ran back to his position shaking his head. 23 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Nicollao Ovies came free, but Gilberto Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Ulysses Custódio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute of the match Valentin Folle sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilberto Godoi skillfully saved the ball. In the 26th minute Leones FC were awarded a corner. Valentin Folle went to the cornerflag to take it. 29 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Nicollao Ovies came free, but Gilberto Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, Ricart Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Sousa to maneuver through the defense. Nicollao Ovies took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilberto Godoi. Gilberto Godoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Aílton Corrêa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taurino Caraballo having to interfere. If Nicollao Ovies had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Folle took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilberto Godoi. Gilberto Godoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After the first half Leones FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leopoldo Barreto made a kick off. A collision led to Ricart Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Cássio Furtado hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Ricart Futebol Clube defense, Nicollao Ovies kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilberto Godoi. The Ricart Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilberto Godoi should have stopped the shot. After having played for 66 minutes, Nicollao Ovies managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leones FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicollao Ovies was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agnaldo Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Barreto in the 73rd minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Taurino Caraballo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nicollao Ovies had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ricart Futebol Clube's Ulysses Custódio got a free kick in the 87th minute. Taurino Caraballo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aílton Corrêa in the 91st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicollao Ovies got free with Gilberto Godoi in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Leones FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
