After some careless play in the La Mazorca defense, Baltasar Gaitan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clodoveo Gartxot. The La Mazorca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clodoveo Gartxot should have stopped the shot. Clodoveo Gartxot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Gaitan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Pablo Lizzio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Clodoveo Gartxot, 2-0. 22 minutes into the match, La Mazorca's goalkeeper Clodoveo Gartxot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baltasar Gaitan. Pablo Lizzio took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clodoveo Gartxot. Clodoveo Gartxot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 28 minutes into the game, when Generoso Tavio put in a rough tackle. Cable a Tierra made a substitution. Fabio Fidencio replaced Pablo Lizzio. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Cable a Tierra:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of La Mazorca:s goal. In the 31st minute there was a penalty for La Mazorca. Arnaldo Luken stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nacho Gonzalez. 3-1. Lucas Cisneros kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Clodoveo Gartxot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Gerazan in the 37th minute of play. Cable a Tierra's Nacho Gonzalez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Hever in the 39th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cable a Tierra's Cosme Turi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Clodoveo Gartxot. That made the score 4-1 after 47 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The wind increased when Cosme Turi made the kick off in the second half. Clodoveo Gartxot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Gaitan, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd match minute, Cable a Tierra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Lauren to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Arnaldo Luken from long distance, 54 minutes into the match, got Nacho Gonzalez's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After having played for 57 minutes, Baltasar Gaitan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cable a Tierra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baltasar Gaitan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 58 minutes into the game, Cable a Tierra's Cosme Turi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clodoveo Gartxot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. 66 minutes into the match, Baltasar Gaitan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clodoveo Gartxot. La Mazorca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baltasar Gaitan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. 70 minutes into the match, La Mazorca's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Gerazan came free, but Clodoveo Gartxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cable a Tierra's Angelo Erauso was substituted for Cosme Turi. Cable a Tierra's Maximino Timo was substituted for Reynaldo Lauren. Clodoveo Gartxot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Gaitan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baltasar Gaitan took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clodoveo Gartxot. Clodoveo Gartxot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. Clodoveo Gartxot didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Cable a Tierra's Vinicio Gerazan shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 9-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Clodoveo Gartxot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Erauso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Mazorca's Clodoveo Gartxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltasar Gaitan in the 96th minute of play. Cable a Tierra's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
