Spectators: 184 (Terracing: 139, Seating: 42, VIP seats: 3) 3 minutes into the match, Saga TF's goalkeeper Steffen Møgster had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bastian Ytterstad. Steffen Møgster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tor-Egil Arntsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saga TF's Steffen Møgster proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Saga TF from getting a goal against them. 7 minutes into the game, Julius Fardal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saga TF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brufoss IL the free kick. A collision led to Saga TF getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Julius Fardal hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the game, Arild Reppen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Steffen Møgster was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kenneth Foldnes got free with Steffen Møgster in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 14 minutes into the game, Bastian Ytterstad recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Steffen Møgster. Bastian Ytterstad showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Steffen Møgster was a little too slow when Bastian Ytterstad got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 3-0. Brufoss IL's Tor-Egil Arntsen was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 23rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Stian Bjørkmo might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olav Øverby. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stian Bjørkmo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bastian Ytterstad in the 27th minute of play forced Saga TF's goalkeeper Steffen Møgster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jørund Nyhagen charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jørund Nyhagen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jørund Nyhagen hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor-Egil Arntsen in the 32nd minute of play forced Saga TF's goalkeeper Steffen Møgster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kenneth Foldnes got free with Steffen Møgster in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Saga TF's Steffen Møgster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bastian Ytterstad in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Brufoss IL's Tor-Egil Arntsen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. Steffen Møgster came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Brufoss IL's Kenneth Foldnes. But to his dismay, Kenneth Foldnes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Steffen Møgster didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bastian Ytterstad went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bastian Ytterstad to make the kick off. Bastian Ytterstad struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Steffen Møgster didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brufoss IL. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Stian Bjørkmo took a quick shot and it went in 9-1 without a chance for Olav Øverby to make any attempt to save it. 62 minutes into the game, Bastian Ytterstad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-1. Steffen Møgster was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Steffen Møgster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arild Reppen in the 66th minute of the match. Saga TF's Steffen Møgster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Preben Halden in the 68th minute of play. Steffen Møgster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bastian Ytterstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Arild Reppen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Steffen Møgster was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-1. Brufoss IL's Leif Mæhlum was substituted for Preben Halden. Steffen Møgster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tor-Egil Arntsen in the 76th minute of the match. Steffen Møgster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arild Reppen in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Brufoss IL's Tor-Egil Arntsen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Steffen Møgster made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-1. In the 82nd minute Tor-Egil Arntsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steffen Møgster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steffen Møgster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bastian Ytterstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Steffen Møgster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenneth Foldnes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Steffen Møgster was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 95 minutes into the game, Bastian Ytterstad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 15-1. Steffen Møgster was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Brufoss IL players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
