The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Iulian Chiliman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Bonano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernest Gogu during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 12 played minutes Romanian Gods™ got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Gogu. Francisc Trăilă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigio Txartiko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute of the match Vintilă Vârlan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gonzalo Bonano skillfully saved the ball. In the 20th minute Delmiro Gelacio suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Valer Nistor's late challenge caught a Chesterfield's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valer Nistor helped the player get up and apologised. Chesterfield's Uriel Palban was substituted for Delmiro Gelacio. The supporters of Chesterfield booed when Romanian Gods™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valer Nistor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Jorge Valerio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francisc Trăilă skillfully saved the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Vinicio Balesio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chesterfield's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Romanian Gods™ the free kick. A collision led to Chesterfield getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Vinicio Balesio hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Chesterfield defense, Doru Zbârciog kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gonzalo Bonano. The Chesterfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gonzalo Bonano should have stopped the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Romanian Gods™'s goalkeeper Francisc Trăilă had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Uriel Palban. The supporters of Chesterfield booed when Romanian Gods™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valer Nistor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisc Trăilă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Palban in the 45th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Iulian Chiliman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chesterfield's Gonzalo Bonano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chesterfield's Gonzalo Bonano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vintilă Vârlan in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Chesterfield getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Uriel Palban hit a great ball. In the 58th minute of the match Emil Văidianu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gonzalo Bonano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fermin Bero charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fermin Bero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Chesterfield's Fermin Bero got a free kick in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Palban in the 63rd minute of play forced Romanian Gods™'s goalkeeper Francisc Trăilă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute Remigio Txartiko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisc Trăilă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisc Trăilă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Palban in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Uriel Palban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 74th minute of the match Fermin Bero completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fermin Bero a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Chesterfield's Fermin Bero got a free kick in the 75th minute. Gonzalo Bonano made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Doru Zbârciog sent off a good shot on target. Remigio Txartiko might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisc Trăilă. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Remigio Txartiko ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st minute, Uriel Palban ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisc Trăilă was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 84th minute, Remigio Txartiko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chesterfield fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Gonzalo Bonano came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Romanian Gods™'s Marin Lepuș. But to his dismay, Marin Lepuș quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. The supporters of Romanian Gods™ booed when Chesterfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Ayala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vintilă Vârlan shot from long distance in the 97th minute, but Gonzalo Bonano was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chesterfield had won after a very even match.
