Larkin Schoenke's late challenge caught a Golden Lions FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The supporters of Southern Thrashers booed when Golden Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Billström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Duke Berresford was a little too slow when Hans Alén got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-10. Alex Nordström scored 0-11 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Duke Berresford, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute, Alex Nordström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Duke Berresford was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. The crowd rose to their feet as Aron Billström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Duke Berresford. That made the score 0-13 in the 92 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Golden Lions FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Southern Thrashers.
