AC Roma's Donato Porro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marko Kirilov in the 11th minute of play. With a little luck, AC Roma's Donato Porro got control of the ball when Velcho Itev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Genko Klyashev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Donato Porro made a huge save. A hard shot 18 in the game by Velcho Itev from a close distance when the talented Donato Porro managed to make a qualified save. AC Roma's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in SvE United's zone, Francesco Di Rocco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radko Mitziev came out of the goal and Francesco Di Rocco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Malin Pervazov fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SvE United's protests and gave Malin Pervazov a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes, AC Roma's Alfonso Anastasi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Radko Mitziev came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AC Roma reached it. Diyan Bogdantzaliev's late challenge caught a AC Roma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diyan Bogdantzaliev helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SvE United getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Diyan Bogdantzaliev hit a great ball. Fabrizio Di Silvio struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Radko Mitziev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Roma. Donato Porro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genko Klyashev, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 33 played minutes SvE United got a freekick which was hit by Velcho Itev. Genko Klyashev received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Donato Porro came out and tried to block the shot, but Genko Klyashev slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francesco Di Rocco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Donato Porro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Genko Klyashev's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. AC Roma's Alfonso Anastasi got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diyan Bogdantzaliev hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. If Francesco Di Rocco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Porro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genko Klyashev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, AC Roma's Comunardo Castellini got a free kick in the 68th minute. Anthony Di Gregorio kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. AC Roma's Donato Porro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biser Halvadzhiyski in the 75th minute of play. Donato Porro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Velcho Itev, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SvE United fully deserved thier win.
