Emotep SK:s Hamdullah Uslu showed great skill when he stopped Eurico Senna:s penalty. 16 minutes into the match, Akil Taki notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Laus Deo's Washington Moura. Washington Moura was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Washington Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akil Taki in the 20th minute of the match. Gilberto Barbosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Hamdullah Uslu made a huge save. Pedro Luís Melo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hamdullah Uslu came out and tried to block the shot, but Pedro Luís Melo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 26th minute. In the 31st minute, Laus Deo's Gilberto Barbosa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. In the 35th minute, Pedro Luís Melo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hamdullah Uslu. The goal made the score 3-2. When Kıraç Sarduç came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Emotep SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kıraç Sarduç couldn't finish the play. After 42 played minutes Laus Deo got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Oliveira.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Akil Taki made a kick off. In the 58th match minute, Laus Deo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Kıraç Sarduç left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Emotep SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. When Gilberto Barbosa fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laus Deo's protests and gave Gilberto Barbosa a yellow card for diving instead. Hamdullah Uslu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luís Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kıraç Sarduç who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Washington Moura when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 76 played minutes Laus Deo got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Dracena. After a rather tough play, Emotep SK's Refik Gülerce got a free kick in the 77th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Pedro Luís Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laus Deo's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Luís Melo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamdullah Uslu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kıraç Sarduç's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Washington Moura skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 86th minute Gilberto Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamdullah Uslu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Washington Moura successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gilberto Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamdullah Uslu having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
