In the 3rd match minute, Kalatakaya F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Etxahun Abastas to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Kalatakaya F.C.'s Erdiano Abalos got a free kick in the 5th minute. A collision led to Laus Deo getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Lucas de Moraes hit a great ball. In the 10th minute Arotza Abajas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Washington Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loreto Abaurre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Washington Moura having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Laus Deo's Pedro Luís Melo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Espiridion Abecia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Pedro Luís Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Washington Moura came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Kalatakaya F.C.'s Nardo Abadia. But to his dismay, Nardo Abadia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Washington Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arotza Abajas in the 25th minute of play. Washington Moura didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arotza Abajas went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Laus Deo's Washington Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arotza Abajas in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Kalatakaya F.C.'s Loreto Abaurre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Washington Moura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Washington Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arotza Abajas, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arotza Abajas in the 47th minute of play forced Laus Deo's goalkeeper Washington Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Washington Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nardo Abadia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arotza Abajas to make the kick off. Gilberto Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Laus Deo's zone, Jonathan Abecia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Washington Moura came out of the goal and Jonathan Abecia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Loreto Abaurre took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Washington Moura to make any attempt to save it. If Nardo Abadia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Kalatakaya F.C.'s Arotza Abajas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Washington Moura. That made the score 0-5 after 70 minutes of play. Pedro Luís Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Arotza Abajas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Washington Moura, 0-6. A collision led to Kalatakaya F.C. getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Etxahun Abastas hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Loreto Abaurre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Washington Moura. Laus Deo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loreto Abaurre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. In the 92nd minute, Nardo Abadia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Washington Moura was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. The Kalatakaya F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
