The supporters of Ecuador booed when Team Xtra personell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Morgan Martinsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ludwig Fransson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Nils Eklund sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute of the match, Nils Eklund got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Team Xtra personell's goalkeeper Ludwig Fransson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nils Eklund. When Ecuador's Felix Montenegro in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Niclas Blom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Niclas Blom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Team Xtra personell players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nils Eklund was the one to do the kick off. Ludwig Fransson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Saelices in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Team Xtra personell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Morgan Martinsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Team Xtra personell's Ludwig Fransson got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Team Xtra personell's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ludwig Fransson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ludwig Fransson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Andino went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After 70 played minutes Team Xtra personell got a freekick which was hit by Verner Näver. In the 71st minute, Martin Ekström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niclas Blom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ludwig Fransson made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Ludwig Fransson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Team Xtra personell throughout the match.
