Elbert Plescher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 巩竞雄, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 彭泉耀 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Kiewiet in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, 董平奕 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, 【AC】Black Dragon-米兰小天下's 彭天延 got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 21st minute, 巩竞雄 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elbert Plescher was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 巩竞雄 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Elbert Plescher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, De Pelgrims's goal looked a bit too open when 巩竞雄 came free, but Elbert Plescher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, 【AC】Black Dragon-米兰小天下's 彭泉耀 got control of the ball when Frits Beuneker tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner led 【AC】Black Dragon-米兰小天下's 尤庭昂 to fire away a dangerous shot which Elbert Plescher despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 43rd minute, De Pelgrims's Jef Savenije dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After 46 minutes, Job van der Schans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Pelgrims and the 【AC】Black Dragon-米兰小天下 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 47 played minutes De Pelgrims got a freekick which was hit by Job van der Schans. 尤庭昂 took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elbert Plescher. De Pelgrims's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frits Beuneker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elbert Plescher made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when 巩竞雄 sent off a good shot on target. Elbert Plescher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 尤益鹏 in the 57th minute of the match. In the 60th match minute, De Pelgrims was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeroen Reintjes to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute of the match 尤庭昂 shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elbert Plescher showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 巩竞雄 charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 巩竞雄 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. De Pelgrims made a substitution. Marc Aalberts replaced Job van der Schans. In the 71st match minute, 【AC】Black Dragon-米兰小天下 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 巩竞雄 to maneuver through the defense. When Mickael Achterberg fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Pelgrims's protests and gave Mickael Achterberg a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jef Savenije in the 76th minute of play forced 【AC】Black Dragon-米兰小天下's goalkeeper 彭泉耀 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 83 minutes, 董平奕 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 【AC】Black Dragon-米兰小天下's supporters crossed their fingers, but 董平奕 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. De Pelgrims's Elbert Plescher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 乔德扬 in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute 董平奕 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elbert Plescher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When 乔德扬 came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the 【AC】Black Dragon-米兰小天下 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 乔德扬 couldn't finish the play. 彭泉耀 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jef Savenije in the 94th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
