Douglas Fowler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvaldo Leal in the 5th minute of play. In the 13th minute Edvaldo Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Fowler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils-Johan Hagberg thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Douglas Fowler, a very annoying self made goal in the 15th minute which led to 0-1. After 17 minutes, Kristen Sollien mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Pladask and the Capivara FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Pladask getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Kristen Sollien hit a great ball. Alf Eik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Capivara FC's Edvaldo Leal got a free kick in the 25th minute. After 28 played minutes Capivara FC got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Furtado. Ivo Furtado's late challenge caught a FC Pladask's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivo Furtado helped the player get up and apologised. Ivo Furtado hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Lúcio Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Kenneth Øglænd in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Capivara FC's goalkeeper Lúcio Domingues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amund Gjerstad hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. If Glauco Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jan-Kenneth Øglænd was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Alf Eik managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Pladask's supporters rose to their feet, but Alf Eik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lúcio Domingues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Pladask's Douglas Fowler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivo Furtado in the 54th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Capivara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Kenneth Øglænd came free, but Lúcio Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivo Furtado hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Lúcio Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Johan Hagberg in the 66th minute of play. Tord Kaur might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lúcio Domingues. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tord Kaur ran back to his position shaking his head. Lúcio Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tord Kaur in the 70th minute of play. After 71 minutes Capivara FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nils-Johan Hagberg who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Tord Kaur almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Capivara FC's Lúcio Domingues did a great save. Douglas Fowler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edvaldo Leal in the 73rd minute. Edvaldo Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Alf Eik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tord Kaur kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Luciano Pereira took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Douglas Fowler to make any attempt to save it. After 87 played minutes Capivara FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Negri. In the 90th minute Alf Eik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Kristen Sollien was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. A collision led to FC Pladask getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Kristen Sollien hit a great ball. The FC Pladask supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Capivara FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Capivara FC.
