Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) De Pelgrims's Huub Nagel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Elbert Plescher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glauco Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 10 played minutes De Pelgrims got a freekick which was hit by Marco Kiewiet. Elbert Plescher made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Edvaldo Leal sent off a good shot on target. In the 15th minute Luciano Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elbert Plescher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Kiewiet charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Kiewiet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marco Kiewiet kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Lúcio Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Huub Nagel in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Glauco Aparecido left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Capivara FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Edvaldo Leal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elbert Plescher read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Pereira in the 29th minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Elbert Plescher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Huub Nagel scored 1-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lúcio Domingues, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mickael Achterberg during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, De Pelgrims's Mickael Achterberg got a free kick in the 35th minute. Capivara FC's Dieguinho Pinho couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for De Pelgrims. After 40 played minutes De Pelgrims got a freekick which was hit by Huub Nagel. Elbert Plescher came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Capivara FC's Glauco Aparecido. But to his dismay, Glauco Aparecido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

55 minutes into the match, Capivara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mickael Achterberg came free, but Lúcio Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of De Pelgrims booed when Capivara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltazar Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdi van der Schaaf struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Lúcio Domingues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De Pelgrims. Elbert Plescher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Pereira in the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glauco Aparecido in the 71st minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Elbert Plescher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerard van Diemen kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 78th match minute, Capivara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glauco Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. De Pelgrims's Elbert Plescher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvaldo Leal in the 80th minute of play. Luciano Pereira struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Elbert Plescher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capivara FC. 90 minutes into the match, De Pelgrims's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Pereira came free, but Elbert Plescher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, De Pelgrims's Mickael Achterberg got a free kick in the 90th minute. After 91 played minutes, Capivara FC's Dieguinho Pinho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elbert Plescher came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Capivara FC reached it. Huub Nagel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Lúcio Domingues made a huge save. When the referee ended the match the Capivara FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
