Edvaldo Leal charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edvaldo Leal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 25 played minutes Capivara FC got a freekick which was hit by Edvaldo Leal. 26 minutes into the match, Capivara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bayan Angelov came free, but Lúcio Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 40 minutes, Bayan Angelov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MANCHESTER UNITED's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bayan Angelov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Tariyski got free with Lúcio Domingues in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edvaldo Leal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes, Fabiano Negri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Capivara FC and the MANCHESTER UNITED players grew even worse after the yellow card.
