Rova Rosiori's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Moises Tercero scored to the left of an out of position Ionel Prisecaru, making the score, 1-0. A collision led to Lanús getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Laureano Pelayo hit a great ball. Olimpiu Cămătaru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvaro Regis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Laureano Pelayo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ionel Prisecaru having to make a save. In the 29th match minute, Rova Rosiori was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Cînu to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Julian Leoncio in the 30th minute really tested Ionel Prisecaru's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ionel Prisecaru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laureano Pelayo in the 34th minute. Radu Alucai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lanús's goalkeeper Alvaro Regis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rova Rosiori's Dorin Codru got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Augusto Valerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dorin Codru kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Radu Alucai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rova Rosiori's supporters rose to their feet, but Radu Alucai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Regis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 58 played minutes Rova Rosiori got a freekick which was hit by George Cînu. After 60 minutes, George Cînu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rova Rosiori and the Lanús players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ionel Prisecaru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moises Tercero went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Petre Bocu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Radu Alucai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lanús were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Rova Rosiori for a fine match.
