The La Cosa Nostra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delmiro Ioritz should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Club Olimpia getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Perico Porregimon hit a great ball. Rodolfo Bakar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Cordeal Pantojas made a huge save. Cordeal Pantojas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Kismi in the 16th minute of the match. La Cosa Nostra's Delmiro Ioritz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordarrol Tama in the 20th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Nicolas Cordarryl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delmiro Ioritz came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Olimpia's Cebo Morejon. But to his dismay, Cebo Morejon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cebo Morejon in the 26th minute of play forced La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Delmiro Ioritz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 minutes, Carmelo Iraido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Cosa Nostra and the Club Olimpia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th match minute, La Cosa Nostra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Iraido to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Club Olimpia's Aquiles Saavedra got a free kick in the 31st minute. The supporters of Club Olimpia booed when La Cosa Nostra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Chucho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rocio Lambaria took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Delmiro Ioritz. La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 44th minute, Rocio Lambaria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as La Cosa Nostra's Omar Kismi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cordeal Pantojas. That made the score 1-2 after 48 minutes of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Delmiro Ioritz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Medero Quevedo in the 56th minute of the match. Cordarrol Tama charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cordarrol Tama the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 played minutes Club Olimpia got a freekick which was hit by Cordarrol Tama. The supporters of Club Olimpia booed when La Cosa Nostra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Cordarryl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodriguez Villarruel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Delmiro Ioritz made a huge save. 74 minutes into the match, La Cosa Nostra's goal looked a bit too open when Cebo Morejon came free, but Delmiro Ioritz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Club Olimpia's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Chucho came free, but Cordeal Pantojas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Club Olimpia's Medero Quevedo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Delmiro Ioritz. Delmiro Ioritz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Baldomero Jatsu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 84 minutes into the match. After 85 played minutes La Cosa Nostra got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Jatsu. La Cosa Nostra's Delmiro Ioritz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Medero Quevedo in the 91st minute of play. Nicolas Cordarryl kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th match minute, La Cosa Nostra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Kismi to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Rocio Lambaria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicolas Cordarryl's late challenge caught a Club Olimpia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicolas Cordarryl helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Club Olimpia booed when La Cosa Nostra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Cordarryl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Olimpia's Isias Gorbin shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 97th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Delmiro Ioritz but with some difficulty. Delmiro Ioritz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isias Gorbin in the 99th minute of the match. The La Cosa Nostra fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club Olimpia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
