When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ermegildo Donzel sped through Ribeirada's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Porfírio Almeida. 11 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Los Andes's goal looked a bit too open when Vivaldo Salvado came free, but Enrique Garaona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermegildo Donzel had several of the Ribeirada's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 13 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Porfírio Almeida as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 19th minute, Ermegildo Donzel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Porfírio Almeida. The goal made the score 4-0. 22 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Los Andes's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Torcato came free, but Enrique Garaona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Porfírio Almeida was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Ermegildo Donzel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ermegildo Donzel really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. Enrique Garaona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belchior Lima in the 28th minute of play. Eloy Atarrabi kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Ribeirada's Vivaldo Salvado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enrique Garaona made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Atletico Los Andes's Ermegildo Donzel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Porfírio Almeida. That made the score 6-1 after 36 minutes of play. Ermegildo Donzel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Porfírio Almeida made a huge save. Ribeirada's Porfírio Almeida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Ribeirada from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ermegildo Donzel made a kick off. Porfírio Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Munio in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute Nereo Tohias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Porfírio Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Torcato in the 55th minute of play forced Club Atletico Los Andes's goalkeeper Enrique Garaona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Porfírio Almeida came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Los Andes's Gilberto Munio. But to his dismay, Gilberto Munio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. After 61 minutes of play, Club Atletico Los Andes's Nereo Tohias made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Porfírio Almeida was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Belchior Lima in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrique Garaona prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67th minute, Ermegildo Donzel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Porfírio Almeida was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-1. Porfírio Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Donzel in the 71st minute of play. Ribeirada's Porfírio Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Tohias in the 73rd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Americo Abecia in the 79th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ribeirada's Adolfo Torcato. In the 80th minute, Henrique Zambujal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st match minute, Club Atletico Los Andes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Tohias to maneuver through the defense. When Nereo Tohias came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Club Atletico Los Andes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nereo Tohias couldn't finish the play. Ribeirada's Porfírio Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Munio in the 84th minute of play. Vivaldo Salvado struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Enrique Garaona didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ribeirada. Pedro Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Club Atletico Los Andes were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
