Emanuel Giurcă made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Keylor Cubero sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Warner Loria got free with Emanuel Giurcă in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eric Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marius Ganea, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Emanuel Giurcă was a little too slow when Warner Loria got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. 31 minutes into the match, Adrian Jitaru notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of LinuX F.C.'s Eric Duarte. Eric Duarte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Marius Ganea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. Eric Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Jitaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Francisc Ciocâlteu made in the 42nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Marius Măgură however managed to control. A collision led to LinuX F.C. getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Eric Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelian Enișteanu in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, LinuX F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Marius Ganea came free, but Eric Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Adrian Jitaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Adrian Jitaru made the kick off in the second half. Eric Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marius Ganea in the 52nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Marius Ganea kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eric Duarte. That made the score 1-2 in the 54 minute of play. If Adrian Jitaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Jitaru struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Eric Duarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Fanaticii. FC Fanaticii's Șerban Nanu was substituted for Marius Ganea. 70 minutes into the game, FC Fanaticii's Mugurel Bărăian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eric Duarte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Eric Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Jitaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Șerban Nanus short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Eric Duarte to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Victor Wanchope hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, Beto Aguilar made a precise shot to the right of Emanuel Giurcă. FC Fanaticii's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Șerban Nanu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 89th minute. FC Fanaticii's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. LinuX F.C.'s Eric Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Jitaru in the 93rd minute of play.
